This is a demo of our latest version 1.3 of ThoughtPattern.
This DEMO version of ThoughtPattern lets you use ALL the features of the program with the ONLY restriction being that only 25 pieces of information can be stored in a single file. Version 1.3 of the DEMO lets you open ThoughtPattern files of any size for reading, but you will not be able to store changes to a file of more than 25 items.

ThoughtPattern is the first Macintosh product to integrate ALL the different types of information you encounter in your real-world day-today work. It lets you manage all your random thoughts, contacts, references, reminders and appointments, along with the information you need to keep track of in ANY type of file.
It does this in a flexible manner that allows you to work in a well-structured, thought-out fashion... or in a more loosely-structured, random style... whichever way works best for you. ThoughtPattern adapts to YOUR style of working.
Instead of locking you into a predefined format, ThoughtPattern is designed to let your Mac work more like your mind than a computer, by associating and locating information in many different ways. This gives you database capabilities for all your diverse, real-world information without requiring you try to make it fit into the regular field and record format of traditional databases.
In the real world, information usually relates to more than one topic of interest. ThoughtPattern lets you ╥file╙ information in more than one place at a time by assigning as many categories as you like. You define these categories and can add to and change them at any time. This process frees you from the burden of having to decide the one best place to put things.
Multiple categories allow you to build multiple associations between items. We often remember things by association, rather than in a direct line. Additionally, the way we remember things differs from time to time.
Here's an example: Your friend Greg Klipper has recommended a lawyer to you. You haven't met the lawyer, but you want to file her name and phone number in case you need her in the future. You file the info under ╥lawyers╙, ╥Greg Klipper╙, and ╥Theresa Ringman╙ (the lawyer's name). Six months from now, you need a lawyer and you can't remember this woman's name, but you do remember that your friend, Greg Klipper, told you about her. ThoughtPattern lets you search for her by searching for all the info filed under ╥Greg Klipper╙ or by searching for ╥lawyers╙.
Also, ThoughtPattern lets you set appointments, reminders, and to-dos and associate the information you'll need with those events. You won╒t need to search your rolodex, your notes, or through folders in the Finder just before that important phone call or meeting. ThoughtPattern will bring all of that different information to the screen when the alarm you set triggers.
Finally, ThoughtPattern lets you associate ANY type of file in the same manner as the notes and thoughts described above. Once you ╥link╙ a file into a ThoughtPattern information-base, you won╒t have to search for it in the Finder again. That file can be placed into as many categories (for example, projects, people, or content) as you like and then searches can be performed on different topics at different times. You can double-click on these files and open them as if you were in the Finder.

ThoughtPattern lists for US$149.95 and is now available at dealers throughout the USA and in some countries outside of the USA. Requirements are a Mac Plus or more recent Mac, 1Mb of RAM, System 6.0.2 or above (it is System 7.0 compatible), and a hard disk is recommended.
